What To Do Before
Your Spray Tan
Exfoliate your body. Pay attention to rough areas like knees, elbows, ankles, hands, and feet. If you shave or wax, do so before your appointment. Do not apply moisturizer to your skin. It is also recommended that you do not wear any makeup or deodorant to your appointment.
What To Do
after Your Spray Tan
Do not wet your skin for 6-8 hours after the tanning session. Do not exercise or perspire excessively between the tanning and showering phase. Avoid long baths, hot tubs, and extended swimming sessions. Also avoid products designed to exfoliate your skin. Hydrate your skin with South Seas tan extender for a longer lasting tan.
An SPF should always be used to ensure your skin doesn’t burn or receive the damaging effects of UVA/UVB rays. Spray tanning and self-tanners do not contain SPF therefore are unable to protect against the sun’s rays. The Coral SPF 30 Lotion doesn’t strip the tan or leave a white cast behind and is a perfect pairing to your spray tan. Pick some up in our retail boutique!
